oysters come to mama

Went for Meritus Mandarin Triple 3 buffet dinner to celebrate nithe's cousin's birthday. The food there is WOW!! There's like everything!! Nithe alone ate more than 2 dozens of oysters and escargots each. And there was a live jazz band which went around table by table to sing. There were wine too.. The bill added up to about $60++ per head after 50% off from some hotel membership.

getting owned by a car

Borrowed nithe's parents' car to fetch him from esplanade last night. The car seriously hates me.

1st alarm: Pressed the wrong button which activated the car's alarm

2nd alarm: Pressed wrong button again

3rd alarm: Successfully got into the car but as key inserted, alarm activated again

4th alarm: Escaped from the car, called nithe's mum and tried desperately to reset the alarm using the key. As I tried to open the car's door, it started screaming again. Finally after like 5 mins of different combinations of locking and unlocking, the alarm was deactivated and I managed to drive away safely.

Never try to steal a Mitsubushi Lancer. The stupid car is heavily guarded with powerful screams. Surprisingly, the 4 full waves of alarms only attracted stares and people covering their ears. No sercurity guard nor police. Lucky. I was at Serene Centre. Was so embarassed that I wanted to juz run away without the car..

when will you be mine?

My parents have been fantasizing alot recently.. hahaha.. like what if one day when we wake up, we suddenly become very rich, how are you gonna spend the money etc. The thought of it is kinda enticing but money won't drop down from the sky right.. Can someone explain to me how come there's a queue outside LV when there's no sale going on inside?

i'm such an extremist

I've eaten more cheng teng in a day then in my entire life. But it's still very nice!

thrift mode on

Me: I wanna go HK for summer sales but I have no $$$.
Mum: I don't mind going with you if I'm free. You only need to take a long weekend. 3-4 days shopping should be enough.
Me: hmmm.. If you are going, does it mean u are gonna pay for me?
Mum: I can pay for your air ticket and logging, but shopping you pay yourself.
Me: I'm totally fine with that. Yay!!

But chances of my mum going is pretty low since she's forever busy and will be going to China in late July. Still, there's hope so I should limit my shopping in Singapore and online. If no HK, I'll juz save up the money and feel rich. heehee.. Have been in a MEGA thrift mode recently. Managed to not spend a single cent, not even food and transport, on a saturday at VivoCity..

Actually if me and ******* order without you and ***** it's cheaper. Well if you say so, what else can I do? I'm not feeling sore or anything.. Didn't really like the idea of sharing with whoever in the first place. So yar, save money!

piano is like organic chem

Piano is like organic chem. You've prepared for it but you know you are still gonna screw up anyway. The difference is that you may suck at organic chem but no one will find one but when u are thrown onto a stage to play piano, everyone can see how bad you suck and that feeling is really terrible. I didn't even dare to look at the people, juz kept looking down and staring into space. The worst thing is that amongst those people, a few of them are genuine pros. Felt like I was in a circus, public shaming..

punctuality is a virtue

Met up with the NY babes at VivoCity. We were supposed to meet for lunch at 1pm. I thought I'll be the latest when I woke up at 12.30pm, but clearly I could have come later.. heehee..

Hungry Ali couldn't be bothered to wait so we ordered first.. We gotta come up with a plan to curb this punctuality problem.. It gets a little frustrating the person who turns up on time gets punished for those who arrive late. I feel bad about arriving late but sometimes, it gets to a point where I know that there will surely be people coming later than me. But does it give me the right to be late?

Rachel joined us for awhile and we visited Sujuan at ChocolateFactory for free chocolate samples. Their truffles are damn damn damn nice!! I felt like I was literally melting.. hahaha

And the day ended with dinner with nithe and my family at PierSide! Specially brought them there to try the delicious Wagyu Beef Burger, and to satisfy nithe's and my craving for it without us settling the bill.. Scheming right..

house or hotel?

Went to Timothy's house for mahjong. His house is damn damn damn NICE!! The funishing, the decorations, and the ambience is WOW.. It's like a hotel and they even have a guest room. Can I be a guest and stay there permanently? hahaha.. If I own a house like that, I won't mind inviting friends over anytime they like.
