nothing matters anymore

Looking at my B.Eng transcript, it comprises mostly of Bs and Cs. Totally ashamed of it in actual fact. Little would I expect an A to appear for FYP!!!! Come to think of it, the days where I hung out at lab were mainly staring at my mentor's programming screen as he writes the algorithm, dozing off occasionally or preparing blood/glucose samples which can be done by any secondary school science student. For the effort (lack of) I've put in as compared to my friends, who hid themselves in their lab till wee hours, I should be expecting nothing more than a B.

My conclusion: Dr. CNG is indeed a nice prof.......

Club21 high

I juz returned from Club21 Bazaar and I'm so happy. Didn't get much but totally love the items I bought =) At least I'm 100% sure I'll wear them more than once and that I didn't buy them juz because it's cheap unlike previous years. I have items in my wardrobe from last year which haven't been worn. As usual, there's too much to choose from and too many people, which makes shopping really confusing and lost at times. As this is still pre-GSS, I really need to watch my pocket.....

And I have a confession to make. I was looking at Armani Exchange tops and this woman beside me was too, digging up stuffs and dumping into her shopping bag. She then dug out this really chic chain leather belt. My eyes were glued to it and she put it into her bag of items. No way!! I did something real unscrupulous... Long story short, I bought the belt and I'm loving it to bits =)

Internet window shopping instead of studying for my CFA isn't helping at all. My list of 'wants' is growing by the day and being unemployed doesn't help. I think I need to go for therapy.....

Tryph and I decided to give our FYP mentors a treat at Goodwood Park Hotel for them tolerating and bearing with our non-contributions of the past year. I thought it would be kinda weird initially coz it feels a little like a double date but it turned out nice =) Tryph was trying to teach them some of our local dialects and colloquial. We opted for ala-carte buffet and this is juz the first round of our orders. Yummy! It's juz a pity that the dessert buffet didn't include their famous durian pastries.

One thing I like about Goodwood Park Hotel is the colonial English feel of the place

rider's cafe

Tucked away in some corner of SG lies this horse paradise. It's totally a world of its own. Horses trotting around as though they own the roads, kids don in riding gears taking a break from the crazy sun, friends hanging around enjoying their quiet and relaxing brunch =)

I was so afraid that the horse will bite me or knock me over. They are huge!!! But really nice to touch and surprisingly, they do not stink as much as I imagined.

I <3 playsuit/jumper/romper what ever you call it. It's totally functional for all occasions. The only down side is that visiting the toilet is kinda troublesome. I've been searching high and low for the perfect playsuit to shout my name and finally =)

Indescribable freedom

Oh did I mention that I made this playsuit from scratch!!! Inspired by this. It took me XXX hrs but it's totally worth the effort. Can't wait for my sewing machine to 'give birth' to more babies.. Shall aim for 1 new item per week =)
