Nithe wanted me to tell him where I've planned to take him for his birthday dinner. All I told him were these.

1. no need to dress up
2. gotta be there early or else there would be a really nasty queue
3. no reservations
4. car required

He totally shocked me by guessing it right the very first time! I've never mentioned the place to him ever and we've not eaten there before. In fact, I juz got to know about the place few days ago. Am I that predictable or is there some sort of unspoken telepathy going on? It's really freaky.

I wrote and signed my first protocol (SS-2008-014) and it's gonna be shelved at Baxter's archive =) At least I left my mark somewhere so if by any chance I wish to work there in the future, they can check me up at the archive! hahahahaha....

happy hatchday

1. I woke up this morning not having to go to work. My supervisor FORCED me to go on leave! hahaha. How cool is that =)
2. Lunch was mussels with happy hour beer! yummy yummy. BIE peeps, we should have gathering there some day.
   
3. Supermarket shopping with Nithe. He has become the man of his kitchen for the last month or so, inspired by the lack of food in his house. I'll be a very lucky woman if he continues to cook for ME.
   
4. We will Rock You Musical by Queen. There was LIVE rock band hidden at the top back of the stage. Initially, I was kinda disappoint coz I didn't see any musicians in the pit and Nithe said that it might be recorded as it seems too good for a LIVE performance. But almost at the end, they showed their faces and ROCKED it. The story line is kinda lame but watch it for its music. Then and again, it's better if you know their songs prior to the musical to fully appreciate it. Loved it.

Brewerkz @ Sixth ave is finally open! I can already smell their mussels. If only I was still living at my old place. It's juz 1 bus stop away and I can have mussels anytime I want. If only....

It's little fringes that slave (the lowest paid employee in the entire company) look forward to. Did I mention that I only worked 3 days this week and I didn't miss any of these. How I wish every week was like that...... Too bad it only happens once per quarter.

Nithe was still telling me that he gets free breakfast weekly simply by attending the nephrology department's case meeting, courtesy of Baxter. How unfair.

it's not over tonight

OMG my ears are half deaf, my heart still beating to the tempo of the drums, tunes of their songs replaying in my mind. It was so much fun! Next time such bands of my liking come, I'll not save on the money and juz get front row seats. Totally different from a sit down musical at the esplanade. The whole vibe was juz amazing.

half time

I'm so looking forward to my self-declared long easter break. The steam sterilization team has been working like bees this past one and a half week, running fractional studies for inspection by someone from USA branch. $4 OT doesn't make things sound any better. The only positive thing is that my supervisor is taking 2 days off after easter Sunday, which makes it a long long weekend (good Friday till Tuesday) and she told me to 'go back to school'. Secret code for slacking at home =) Maybe I should paint some easter eggs. hahahahaha

Grabbed 8 pieces with a total damage of $340. It was like lou-ing yu sheng during CNY juz that it's with clothes. With sales like this, who will ever step into their boutique?
